Product description
Fertilizer of uniform light-grey to dark-grey granules, grain class 2-5 mm, at least 92%. Granules coated, without permanent caking characteristics. Bulk density: 0.9-1.0 kg/dm3. POLIFOSKA 8 includes 8% of nitrogen (N) of nitrates, 24% of phosphorus (P2O5) soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, that is, available in the form of mono- and bi-ammonium phosphorus, including 21% soluble in water. The fertilizer includes 24% of potassium (K2O) soluble in water, in the form of potassium chloride, that is, potash salt and 9% of sulphur trioxide (SO3) soluble in water, in sulphate form.

Intended use and application
This fertilizer may be used for all cultivated plants: winter and spring crops, economic and root plants, on grassland and in cultivation of vegetables and fruit cultures. POLIFOSKA® 8 is recommended for soil of similar richness in phosphorus and potassium, in conditions of proper organic fertilization and specifically under corn, when straw is ploughed. The highest effectiveness is obtained with POLIFOSKA® 8 when used prior to sowing, mixed with soil to a depth of 10-20 cm. This fertilizer may also be used early in spring, for top dressing on winter plants. Permanent crops may be fertilized in spring. POLIFOSKA® 8 may be mixed immediately before spreading with urea, ammonium nitrate and nitro-chalk / Salmag, and with potash salt at any time.

Advantages
Ammonium nitrogen absorbed slowly by plants is a factor in their harmonious growth and development, supports absorption of phosphorus and limits excess absorption of potassium. Phosphorus in the form of ammonium phosphorus is the best available form of the element, well absorbed also where there is a deficiency of water in soil. The chemical composition of POLIFOSKA® 8 results in good plant rooting and proper development of plants from the postemergence period, increases the resistance of plants and, when used prior to sowing, increases their freeze resistance and drought resistance, as well as contributes to full blooming and uniform maturation, along with an improvement in quality and high yield.

Packaging and transport
POLIFOSKA® 8 is packaged in:
Flexible containers at 500 kg ± 1% or more, the so-called big-bags.
The fertilizer must be transported while protected against water, rainfall, direct sunlight and damage to the packaging.
POLIFOSKA® 8 is not classified, i.e. it is not considered a hazardous material according to the UN Orange Book and international transport codes, for example RID (railway transport), ADR (road transport) and IMDG (sea transport). With regard to transportation using the road vehicles of the recipient or of a carrier acting on the direct instructions of the recipient, it is the recipient or the carrier who is responsible for any deterioration in the quality of the fertilizer.

Storage
Polyethylene bags with overprint of a net content of 50 kg should be stored in 10 layers at the most. Flexible containers of less than 500 kg in weight may be stored in piles of up to three layers, or in piles of two layers if weight exceeds 500 kg. In the case of pallet storage, loading units of up to 0.9 m in height are stored in piles of four layers, and loading units of 0.9 m to 1.8 m in height in piles of not more than 3.6 m. The fertilizer should be stored in clean and dry warehouse buildings and protected against atmospheric conditions (solar radiation, rainwater). In the course of transportation, handling and storage, the regulations in force should be observed.

Precautions
In the event of irritation of skin and eyes, wash with plenty of water. Dust masks and safety goggles are recommended. If swallowed accidentally, seek medical advice. Nontoxic, odourless, non-flammable fertilizer.
